In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safety and welfare of all personnel on site. You'll have the chance to contribute to high-profile projects, collaborating with top industry professionals to help deliver state-of-the-art facilities.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards, ensuring effective control measures are in place.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation, providing advice and guidance to project teams.
- Lead regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Coordinate and deliver relevant health and safety training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture on-site by fostering awareness and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies regarding health and safety matters.
- MUST have 2-5 years Construction experience, preferably with an MEP Contractor
- NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable
