Graduate / Intermediate Building Surveyor – London (Waterloo, SE1)
Salary: £28,500 – £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Full-Time | Hybrid Working | APC Support

 
Are you a graduate or early-career building surveyor ready to kickstart your career with a fast-growing, award-winning consultancy in central London? We’re looking for an ambitious and personable Graduate or Intermediate Level Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and collaborative team based in Waterloo, SE1.
 
The Opportunity

You'll be part of a close-knit and supportive team where your voice is heard, and your development genuinely matters. With projects ranging from high-end listed buildings to varied residential portfolios across Central London, you'll gain hands-on experience in core building surveying services including:
  • Contract administration (projects up to £3.5m)
  • Insurance reinstatement work
  • Condition & planned maintenance surveys
  • Defect analysis and diagnosis
  • Party wall matters & licence to alter
  • Pre-acquisition surveys
  • Project management and employer’s agent roles

Building Surveyor
  • A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or equivalent
  • Passion to build a career in consultancy and achieve chartered status
  • Solid communication and IT skills (Excel & Word essential)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • A confident, professional manner with a collaborative approach
 
Nice to Have
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Previous experience in construction or surveying
  • Full driving licence
  • Based within 1 hour of SE1
