Electrical Lead

An excellent job opportunity for an Electrical Lead to work on a signature commerical project in the heart of central London. This will be working for a leading international tier one main contractor.

What will you be doing:
 

• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the client, main contractor, and stakeholder.
• Creating clear and attainable project objectives and developing/ managing project requirements.
• Providing strategic support to the client and assisting in the management of technical reviews and design approvals, managing technical issues as they arise.
• Arranging acceptance and sign-off of design briefs.
• Coordinating, planning and managing internal and external meetings about the project.
• Managing change in an efficient manner and in accordance client governance process.
• Defining and managing the constraints of cost, time, scope, and schedule whilst ensuring teams are adequately resourced.
• Establishing and implementing project procedures and processes with the Client, project team organisation, reporting systems etc.
• Contributing to risk management and working with the project team to identify, schedule, and establish mitigation strategies for project risks.
• Inputting safety procedures into the design development process.
• Preparing the project quality plan and ensuring quality is integral to the development process.
• Developing and managing the procurement strategy.
  

Let’s talk about you….

You will come from an engineering background and have managed and led electrical packages on large multimillion pound projects in the UK. You will have gained experience working for a main contractor or tier one M&E Contractor. You will have experience with managing subcontractors and internal teams to make sure project deadlines are always met.
