Commercial Manager
Job description
We are working with a tier 1 client who are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to lead their entire commercial team on several challenging projects across the Manchester region.
Because the project is a rail based framework, as a commercial manager you will be supporting the client with a wide range of rail and infrastructure projects that range from major improvements all the way to the complete construction of a new station. However, once the project is complete you will have the added bonus of having 3 business units to work from if you want to challenge yourself within a new sector.

- Set up necessary systems to efficiently file and retrieve information and allow others to do likewise.
- Establish Commercial Strategy and Framework for the project(s) and agree, amend, and monitor the effectiveness of these stratagies with the Director/Commercial Manager.
A perfect candidate will:
- Hold relevant qualifications (e.g. degree in quantity survyeing).
- Have experience within the rail, construction or civils industry.
- Have experience with similar role.
- Have experience identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
