BMS Specialist Lead

An excellent opportunity for a BMS Specialist Systems Lead to work for a leading tier one main contractor. This will be working on a signature nine-storey building revamp which includes a 1,500 sq ft rooftop pavilion based in the heart of London.

What will you be doing?

In this role you will need sufficient experience with specialist systems, such as: BMS, CNS (data), Fire, E-comma and PAVA.

• Lead and Develop the BMS package.

• Co-ordination of Smart / Intelligent Buildings & BMS design with other building services disciplines and with external parties such as architect or client delivery teams.

• Interface with the project teams to plan and define the various MEP, Controls and Digital Building requirements from a technical perspective for projects.

• Where required brief MEP Consultant teams on requirements for due diligence for capital projects

• Review & critique third party building Due Diligence reports, providing advice on Lease requirements

• Support teams with defining MEP and Building Controls strategy for projects,

• Review MEP, Controls and Digital Building Standards and advise on any version required improvements to suit regions

• Peer review third party MEP and Controls and Digital Buildings design documentation for key projects at milestone Gateways (RIBA appropriate stages). Such monitoring shall include review of drawings and specs and periodic review with the project teams and consultants to solve any emerging issues in a timely manner.

• Attend design meetings as required to support assigned projects

• Contribute to account initiatives

You will have a degree qualification in engineering and a member of a professional body such as CIBSE or the IET. Other Building Services HND level qualifications may also be considered.
