Assistant Site Manager – New Build Housing
Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Package
My client is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a successful and growing team, working on a new build traditional housing scheme in Buckinghamshire.
The Role: As Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality residential development. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day coordination of site operations, ensuring that all works are completed safely, on time, and to the expected standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all on-site construction activities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor quality control and carry out snagging
- Report progress and issues to the Site Manager
- Support with site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
- Help drive the project through to successful handover
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential developments
- Knowledge of traditional build methods
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail
- Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
