Site Manager

Job Title: Site Manager (Minor Civil Projects)

Location: London and East of England

Contract Length: 4-5 Months

Rate: £320 - £350 per day (CIS)

Overview:
We are working with a Principal Contractor who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee multiple minor civil projects across London and the East of England. This is a short-term contract, with the potential for extension, managing projects valued around £1 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations on multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and local authorities, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material deliveries, and subcontractor reports.
• Manage site logistics, including plant and materials, to ensure efficient project delivery.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on minor civil projects, ideally with a focus on urban environments.
• Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously, particularly in London and the East of England.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing project conditions.
