Job description

Working for the client means you'll be responsible for supervising and monitoring the Main Contractor supply chain, ensuring they hit all health & safety, quality, and programme requirements.
 
 
If you are a Site Engineer or Section Engineer with Tier One Main Contractor experience, then this would be a perfect move for you!

What will you be doing?
  • Deliver regular safety engagement to support a world class safety culture
  • Support with buildability input in the design stage of the project to ensure safety in design
  • Review contractor Construction, Design & Management and Health, Safety & Environmental submittals (including construction phase plans, risk assessments, method statements and work permits) and monitor compliance against accepted plans.
  • Review contractor Quality and Commissioning submittals including Inspection & Test Plans and Daily Reports, reviewing quality and verifying content prior to submission to Project Manager(s).
  • Support in providing responses to Requests for Information, Non Conformance Reports and Change Documents
  • Contribute to Front End design sessions to evaluate design in terms of feasibility and risk
  • Inspect work within relevant discipline to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and standards
  • Deliver effective commissioning and handover of projects through review of as built information
 
 
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Be educated to HNC, HND or Degree level or equivalent in a construction or engineering related discipline.
  • Experience as an Engineer or equivalent on an Infrastructure/Construction project with a value typically in excess of £5M
  • CSCS card
 
 
On offer is a salary of 45,000 to 50,000 per annum along with a 15% annual bonus (which pays out pretty much every year), an enhanced contribution pension, private medical insurance, 25 days holiday, travel allowance as well as a variety of other benefits.
