Job description
An organically growing niche Civil Contractor is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to initially support with a high-profile project in central London. Working from river and shore, you'll gain unique technical experience including working with floating plant, barges and specialist diving activities.

On completion of this project, the intention will be for you to support with ongoing works along the Thames or alternatively move to one of their other larger projects in Suffolk or Hampshire.

As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Instrumentation and monitoring
- Keeping up to date with construction drawings
- Managing the quality and health & safety
- Resolving technical problems
- Assisting with RAMS and other site paperwork
For you to be successful in this position, you will:
- Hold demonstrable experience in delivering civil engineering projects, with values more than £3M
- Be educated to HND or Degree (or equivalent) level in Civil Engineering
- Ideally have experience of working on Marine or wet civils projects. Alternatively, be well versed in earthworks and piling.
- Have a clean driving licence and a willingness to travel across London and the Southeast (within reason)
