Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Mechanical Pipework Contractor (Turnover £15m)
£80,000 – £90,000 + Package
The Company:
A well-established, smaller-sized mechanical pipework contractor with an annual turnover of around £15m. The business operates across four main divisions that includes an in-house factory, fabrication, off site prebuilt pipework and services division that delivers projects across commercial, data centre and healthcare sectors up to £4m.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of around 10 live projects valued between £50k and £4m.
- Take responsibility for all commercial elements including contractor negotiations, claims, variations and change orders.
- Work closely with Project Managers and clients to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage and support a small commercial team.
- Split your time between the London office and project sites as needed.
- Make senior-level decisions and help shape the future of the commercial function.
What they’re looking for:
- An experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a senior or commercial management role.
- Tier 1 contractor experience is welcome — this would suit someone looking to move away from the intense pressures of larger businesses into a more balanced, supportive environment.
- Strong understanding of the full commercial process within a mechanical contracting context.
