We are working with a leading main contracting company that have been awarded a waste-water facility upgrade projects by Thames Water in Bedfordshire.

We are recruiting for experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join on a temp basis (Umbrella PAYE) as part of the design services team.

The project involves the upgrade of MEICA systems inclusive of pumping station and gas digestion plant.
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering multiple concurrent projects within budget and timescales. Your day to day will include:

• Leading electrical engineering from inception to completion, liaising with client engineering and operational staff
• Ascertaining preliminary and detailed design requirements and developing practical solutions
• Coordinating with suppliers, specialist subcontractors, and in-house teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Taking overall responsibility for profit and loss on contracts, including completion of all project-specific reports
• Compiling final contract documentation for client closeout, including as-built drawings, test sheets, and operation and maintenance manuals

 What we need from you:

• You have a strong understanding of the electrical engineering in infrastructure markets, i.e. water, power & energy, industrial etc
• You can effectively deliver multiple projects within budget and timescales without compromising on health, safety, and the environment
• You have the ability to lead and manage teams on site with confidence
• You're willing to work within the call team (on call 1 in 7)
• You enjoy working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions
