Position: Sub-Structure Package/Construction Manager
Contract Duration: 9 - 12 months
Location: Manchester
Rate: Up to £400 per day (currently deemed as outside of IR35 but subject to IR35 assessment)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sub-Structure Package/Construction Manager to join our team on a significant project at Manchester. This is a unique opportunity to work on a prestigious project that will require your expertise in managing the sub-structure package.
Role Overview
The sub-structure package manager will be responsible for overseeing this packages on a large-scale construction project. The successful candidate will ensure that all sub-structure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the key point of contact for all these works, coordinating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and the client. You will also be required to give an input in design and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the sub-structure package of the project, ensuring all activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise with the client and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements and progress.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and financial records.
- Proven experience as a Construction or Package Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of sub-structure packages.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
