Sector Lead / Director - Infrastructure

A high performing, private equity backed consultancy specialising in project management, cost consultancy and PMO services is seeking to appoint an Infrastructure Sector Lead, based in London. This role will be responsible for accelerating growth across the Rail, Aviation, Highways, Energy and Water sectors.


Across the UK and Europe, the business employs approximately 800 people and has ambitious plans to double in size over the next five years. The firm is intentionally focused in its service offering, maintaining a disciplined approach that prioritises deep technical expertise and consistent, high quality delivery over a broad multidisciplinary model.


With strong financial backing and a leadership team committed to operational excellence, the organisation is on a clear trajectory of significant expansion—driven by a blend of organic growth and targeted strategic acquisitions.


What will you be doing? 

• Lead the region, own the P&L and set the strategic direction in line with business objectives
• Grow key client relationships across private and public sectors, with a strong focus on new business
• Ensure delivery quality, commercial performance, and operational efficiency across all service lines
• Contribute to national leadership conversations, share insights and help define best practice across the group
• Lead and mentor key project management and cost consultancy staff across the region and build a high performance culture that reflects the company’s values
• Represent the business in industry forums, panels, and networking groups to enhance brand reputation and visibility

What do you need? 

• Have a proven track record of leading high performing consultancy team in the infrastructure sector
• Have a deep knowledge of one or more core disciplines, such as project management or cost consultancy
• Be well networked with a strong reputation and commercial presence across key sectors and clients
• Be an entrepreneurial and strategic thinker, with experience growing teams and winning work
• Be educated to degree or master's level in a relevant subject matter (project management or quantity surveying preferred) 

What’s on offer?

£185,000 salary per annum, a very attractive annual bonus plus a long term incentive plan. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package aligned with the seniority of the role
