Job description
This is a newly created, strategic Regional Director position, focused on leading and growing the infrastructure offering across the North West, based out of a high quality central Manchester office.
The role has been designed to move away from the traditional “seller doer” model, placing a much stronger emphasis on business development, client engagement, and winning new opportunities. While there may be some limited involvement in delivery, the primary focus is on growth.
You will take full ownership of the region, including P&L responsibility, with a mandate to build and develop the team, shape a clear growth strategy, and drive revenue and market presence over the next 12 to 24 months.
There is already a strong platform in place. The team currently sits at 15 people, supported by the wider infrastructure capability of the business, along with established relationships across the Water and Highways sectors. However, there is significant scope to broaden the client base, re-engage dormant frameworks, and introduce new opportunities and contacts.
This role would suit a senior Cost Management (Associate Director or Director) professional with a strong network and a proven track record of winning work. You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying and likely Chartered, with extensive experience across infrastructure sectors such as Energy, Highways, Water, Utilities, Marine, and Rail.
The current team has a strong cost focus, so a background in Cost Management is essential.
On offer is a basic salary of around £125,000 per annum (this is negotiable, so please still apply if you're looking for more), alongside an attractive benefits package, including an annual bonus and a future equity opportunity.
If you’re open to a confidential discussion, please apply with a copy of your CV (it doesn’t need to be fully up to date), or contact Rob on 0203 998 7671.
