Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s Highways Maintenance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a main contractor on a highways maintenance framework with a secure orderbook for over 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in managing budgets, contracts, and project progress
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery including minor resolution disputes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on project expenditure
- Hold a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., degree, RICS membership, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the highways or civil engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of cost management processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
