Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Efficiently oversee multiple projects, ensuring tight control over variations and their financial implications.
- Financial Oversight: Lead the preparation of valuations and final accounts, managing subcontract orders, and ensuring compliance with budgets.
- Reporting: Prepare and present job cost analysis, report budget exceedances, and communicate project impacts.
- Process Improvement: Analyse and enhance current methods and procedures.
- Site Liaison: Regularly visit sites, liaise with site and divisional managers, and ensure effective communication regarding variations and project performance.
- Administrative Duties: Format valuations and final accounts, ensure accurate VAT assessments, and handle the timely collection of retentions.
- Work Authorization: Right to Work in the UK
- License: Full UK Driving Licence
- Qualifications: HNC in Construction or a relevant Degree
- Experience: Knowledge of private residential building contracting, and awareness of property taxation matters and contractual law
- Skills:
- Technical understanding of both traditional and modern building methods
- Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills
- Strong numeracy, financial management, and clear communication skills
