Role: Quantity surveyor
Location: Sevenoaks

This business specialises in Joinery/fit-out/Design & Build projects. Typical projects are worth £5 million and are based across central London and Southeast England. The company has been successfully running for 25 years and is known for the renowned projects in London for exclusive clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has strong background knowledge of carpentry and joinery and experience of delivering Design & Build projects. 

Type: Permanent
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + car allowance + package

You’ll be reporting directly into the commercial director while running 2-3 of your own projects worth £5million+  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage price works, negotiation and costs plans
• Negotiate contracts and work schedules
• Meet specific timescales
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Contribute on a procurement strategy
• Deliver and manage projects £5million+
• Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks

To be successful you must:

• Excellent communication skills
• Background in Joinery
• Must be willing to travel into London
• Experience on working on/running Design & Build projects valued £5million+
