Role: Project manager
Location: Projects based in Central London 

This business specialises in carpentry and joinery as a sub-contractor, as well as this, they continually win projects as a fit-out main contractor in central London. Typical projects are worth up to £5 million and are based across central London and Southeast England. The company have been in business for 25 years and are known for the renowned prime high-end projects in central London for exclusive clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Manager who has strong background knowledge of Design & Build.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Package

Job Description:
The Project Manager will be expected to take autonomous control and responsibility for through design development to completion for the successful delivery of one or more carpentry/joinery/fit out packages typically valued up to £5M. Making sure the health and safety, budget, quality, risk, and programme.

  • Managing client relationships.
  • Carrying out risk assessment.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Be a role model to all staff, delivering a positive leading image.
  • Act in accordance with company policies and instructions throughout the project.
  • Leading project planning sessions
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Designing and signing off on contracts
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Participating in tender process i.e., design, submission, and review
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for your director
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
  • Managing large and diverse teams
