I am currently working with a multi billion pound civils contractor who are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the A303 road project. As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that all goods, services, and works required for the project are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

My client are embarking on an ambitious project to upgrade the A303 road, aiming to ease traffic congestion and enhance the visitor experience to the iconic Stonehenge landmark.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the objectives of the A303 road project.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and make recommendations based on cost, quality, and suitability.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve the best possible outcomes for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Major projects and main contractor experience essential
  • MCIPS / CIPS qualification would be good
  • P6/COINS/CEMAR softwear experience will be ideal
