Job description

We are supporting a fast-growing civil engineering contractor specialising in delivering unique infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. They have the civil engineering part covered but the streamlining of their learning and development processes is new territory. This means you’ll be starting with a blank canvas and have the freedom to design and implement a learning and development framework from scratch.

As Project & Culture Manager you will drive initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative company culture specific to the civil engineering industry. You will design and implement programs to increase employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Your responsibilities will include overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and professional development to ensure a employees feel supported and motivated.

You’ll need to have proven experience in developing and implementing people strategies and initiatives, ideally within the construction or civil engineering sector. You’ll also need to possess the essential softer skills such as establishing strong employee relations and collaborating with the leadership team.

You’ll work in their Cheshire office, so you’ll need to live within a commutable distance, but this won’t have to be a daily commute as flexible working arrangements are offered. Whether you are looking for your next full or part time role or are ready for a return to work, this opportunity can accommodate either.

On offer is a salary of between 55,000 – 65,000 with a benefits package including private medical, pension, and 25 days annual leave.
