Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer 
MEP Contracting / Building Services 
London Bridge 

A modern, forward-thinking and progressive M&E Contractor with a turnover of around £50m requires a Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer to join its team, due to growth. You will join the team where you'll be a vital member of the Pre-Construction division. In this role, you'll wield significant influence in shaping projects during their nascent stages.

They are seeking individuals with mechanical engineering experience who are enthusiastic about transitioning into an office environment and advancing their careers in pre-construction. They highly value a positive, proactive attitude and a strong desire for learning.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with QS in preparing documentation for sub-contractor and supplier inquiries.
• Facilitate the distribution of supplier and subcontractor inquiries and organise returned bids.
• Aid the QS/Procurement department in placing orders.
• Perform design audits/reviews and raise RFIs (Request for Information) as necessary, evaluating potential Value Engineering opportunities.
• Oversee CDP subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate with external Design Consultants.
• Manage BIM (Building Information Modelling)/Working Drawing resources.
• Issue Technical submittals.
• Attend Design Team meetings.
• Deliver Preconstruction reports to clients.
• Assist QS with variations and change management.
• Attend Factory witness tests where applicable.
