Are you ready to be a part of a pioneering project that will shape the future of hydrogen fuel cell technology?

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead a commercial team on a ground breaking landmark project. As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in overseeing all financial aspects of the Gigafactory construction, ensuring that costs are managed effectively and that the project is delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the Gigafactory construction project, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and resolving any contractual issues that arise.
  • Cost Estimation and Analysis: Prepare detailed cost estimates and conduct cost analysis to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that materials and services are obtained at the best possible prices without compromising on quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including the client, contractors, and government bodies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong financial acumen, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in contract management and procurement processes.
  • In-depth understanding of construction industry standards and regulations, particularly in the context of sustainable technologies and hydrogen fuel cell production.
