Electrical Project Manager

My client is a dynamic medium-sized Building Services Contractor based in North Kent, specializing in commercial and education projects. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality Building Services installations, they’ve built strong relationships with clients across various industries.

Due to growth, an Electrical Project Manager is required to join the business. Your main place of work would be the office in North Kent.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for electrical contracts, from tendering stage to final handover.
  • Provide accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates, taking into account materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Collaborate with the design team to review electrical specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee the procurement process for electrical equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
  • Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Implement effective project management practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure that electrical installations meet the highest standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and support to the site team regarding electrical installations, troubleshooting, and resolving any technical challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes, applying them to enhance project delivery and drive continuous improvement.
