One of the UK’s leading, Tier One MEP Contractors requires an Electrical Project Engineer to assist with the delivery of a complex electrical package on a major pharmaceutical project in Oxford.
You are set to become part of a well-established company, reporting to the Electrical Lead Project Manager you’ll take a lead on the Electrical Engineering from the pre-construction phase before arriving on site in Spring 2025. This role offers long-term work in the Oxfordshire area and numerous opportunities for career advancement.

Duties include:
- Preparation of commissioning documents
- Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues.
- Prepare estimates for labour costs, material costs and equipment costs to determine project budgets.
- Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the design team.
- Preparing risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are followed throughout the project.
- Ensure quality is to standard, constantly checking against requirements.
- Value Engineering, working with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to save money.
