Job description

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our client’s team and work on a large defence capital works programme. As part of our Project Controls function, you will be responsible for providing document control support within the programme and report to the Project Controls Manager.

Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and hold a security clearance.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting configuration of the Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS). 
  • Managing the delivery of Documents within the EDMS.
  • Producing and maintaining the Document Management processes, procedures and templates as part of the
  • Programme Delivery Management System.
  • Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player as a member of the partnership delivering the programme.
  • Communicating ideas for improving processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
  • Providing notification of Risks, Issues and Mitigating actions within the Project Controls function.
  • Ensuring partner and subcontractors understand the Document Management Standards and are aware of the Client’s expectations in relation to maximising the value of information.
  • Provision of Document Management Reports against the Master Information Delivery Plan.
