Location: Kings Cross
Salary - £48,000
Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
 
The People Group are looking for an Fabrics Assistant Lead for a prestigious client on a unique financial contract based In Kings Cross. If you are a Fabrics Supervisor/Fabric Lead then please read below as this role could be perfect for you!
 
Helpdesk
 

• Monitoring tickets and allocating them to the team of engineers.
• Chasing for more information when needed
• Actioning ticket when needed on CFS System.
• PPM scheduling to the fabric team.
• IPad testing

 
Management
 

• Managing the shift team. The Engineers work 7pm-7am but your hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
• Working with CFS team for PPM and helpdesk related issues finding new and better ways between us for the reporting and completing
• Working with CFS team and fabric team to implement a new Correctives for the ad hoc works that are not being logged through the system.
• Artwork Survey with client to cost install via overtime for fabric
• Furniture moves for events
• Order materials
• Materials being ordered for the helpdesk tickets that is required
• Ordering materials to make sure we have adequate stock on site to keep the fabric team running without delays
• Sorting paperwork i.e.
• Logbooks
• Ceiling registers
• Floor registers
• Meeting room ceiling inspection
• Toilet inspections
• Delivery note signed and logged
• Bike store moves
• Dynamic risk assessments and authority to work

 
Fabric team

• Keeping inventory list of what we have in the:
• Fabric workshop
• Fabric store room
• Off-site facility workshops
• Off-site facility warehouse
• Flag inventory for the off-site facility and campus

•  Close working with the fire safety team for
• Routine fabric walks around the building making sure everything Is up to code for Fire Life Safety
• Ordering materials fire exit signs, staircase signs, lift lobby’s and goods lifts  
• WPA working closely with them for the fabric related issues and client
• Monitoring of weekly and weekend project paperwork, safe starts, pidum steps, scaffolding etc.

 
Experience/Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisor/manager position.
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• RTW in the UK.
• Able to provide 2 checkable references.
